In 2015 Kawartha Branch started an outreach project through the online newspaper My Kawartha – Families of the Kawarthas (aka Founding Families at the MyKawartha online address).
We submit regular columns to the online version of MyKawartha.
Families of the Kawarthas (aka Founding Families at the online address) will give brief histories of some of the early settlers in this area. Each of these articles feature an early family from the Kawartha Branch area. These articles are 500 to 1000 words in length with the possibility that the occasional article may be longer. Articles are written by Kawartha Branch members.
